Actively vs Rox

Rox and Actively both put AI agents to work on revenue, but they make opposite bets. Rox asks you to replace your engagement tool, dialer and call recorder with one platform on its own data layer. Actively keeps the stack you already run and puts an agent on every account, working to a playbook your leaders set. The tables below show where each one fits.

Two different architectures

Where the context lives

Both products start from the same idea. Agents are only as good as the context they work from. They build that context in different places.

Rox builds its own. It calls it a System of Context: a warehouse-native knowledge graph that joins CRM records, email, meetings, documents and public data, then resolves them into one view of each account. Rox's agents and apps run on top of that graph.

Actively builds shared account context from the systems you already run: your CRM, call recordings, email and product usage. It is organized around the account, not the task. The context stays with the account as it moves from SDR to AE to account manager to CSM, so nothing resets at a handoff. Reps, leaders and agents all work from the same picture.

How work starts

Rox centers on Command, a conversational interface. You ask for something, and Command breaks the request into steps, routes them to specialized agents and returns the result in one thread. Rox also runs multi-step workflows and suggests next steps from deal context.

Actively starts work before anyone asks. Agents run in the background on every account. They research, prioritize and draft, then tee up decisions for reps each morning. The reasoning is simple. Chat answers a question, then waits. Most accounts never get the question.

Who sets the rules

Rox governs through permissions, policy controls and audit logs. Command handles manual overrides and custom instructions.

Actively puts the revenue leader in charge of how agents work. Leaders write the playbook. Watchtower checks every live deal against it, flags the gaps and puts agents to work on them. The more an agent does on its own, the more that control matters.

Where they agree

Both keep people at the center of the deal. Rox says its revenue agents hand work to people, with the rep as the closer. Actively's agents do the research and prep so reps spend their time with buyers. Neither one asks you to take people out of selling.

Does Actively replace my CRM or engagement tool?

No. Actively reads from them and adds agents that act on what it finds.

What does Rox do?

How is Actively priced?

Pricing depends on your team and motion. Book a demo and we will walk you through it.

The bottom line

This is a choice about your stack, not about AI. Most revenue teams already own a CRM, a call recorder and an engagement tool. Rox asks you to replace them. Actively helps you get more from them.
